Como toda población del Camino de Santiago Francés que suele ser final de etapa, no faltan posibilidades de alojarte en algún albergue público, privado, pensión u hostal. Con los años van apareciendo más ofertas de alojamiento.

Hasta hace poco me alojaba en una Casa Rural apartada de esta localidad  que ofrecía servicio de recogida a la llegada. Así conocí a mi amigo Willy. Él hace el servicio de traslado de peregrinos desde Portomarín a Casa Fervenza, a unos 19 km del camino y que hasta la fecha había sido uno de los lugares que venía recomendando en mi BLOG.

Este mes de Septiembre de 2016 he vuelto a alojarme en este lugar con MUCHO ENCANTO Y UNA COCINA RENOVADA.

This September, 2016 I have returned to stay in this place with a LOT OF CHARM AND A RENOVATED KITCHEN.

Las habitaciones son amplias, con buenas vistas al Miño por el que he entrado al llegar a Portomarín. Recuerdan mucho a las típicas estancias de los Paradores Nacionales, con un pequeño vestíbulo, el dormitorio y un baño completo y toda la habitación con ventanales que permiten buena luz.

The rooms are spacious with good views of the Miño that I entered upon arriving in Portomarín. They remember much the typical stays of the National Paradores, with a small lobby, the bedroom and a complete bathroom and the whole room with large windows that allow good light.

El reciento es muy acogedor y el servicio muy correcto. Disponen de Restaurante donde poder cenar cómodamente y degustar un menú muy completo y bien elaborado. El café que me tomé en la terraza me vino a recordar que hacía días que no me tomaba uno tan bien preparado y estaba muy bueno….

The room is very cozy and the service very correct. They have a Restaurant where you can dine comfortably and taste a very complete and well prepared menu. The coffee I took on the terrace came to remind me that I had not taken one so well prepared for days and it was very good ….
