Como había elegido una ruta alternativa a la tradicional, esta etapa la hice muy sola. El camino era el arcén de la N-120 en muchos tramos, pero de haber ido por el antiguo y en desuso Camino de Santiago que se hacía antes, no encontraría poblaciones intermedias  en todo el trayecto. La opción de la N-120 la encontré en la red. La parte positiva de esta etapa fue la parada obligada para WC y comprar agua en algún bar de Grajal de Campos. La totalidad de kilómetros recorridos fueron aproximadamente unos 16 km.

Since I had chosen an alternative route to the traditional one, this stage I did very alone. The road was the shoulder of the N-120 in many sections, but having gone through the old and disused Camino de Santiago that was done before, you would not find intermediate populations throughout the journey. The N-120 option found it on the network. The positive part of this stage was the obligatory stop for WC and buy water at some Grajal de Campos bar. The total kilometers traveled were approximately 16 km

Curiosa casualidad que mi presencia, sin parecerme mucho a un peregrino habitual, llamara la atención del Alcalde de esta pequeña localidad monumental. Me llevó a conocer el lugar y me enseñó el proyecto en el que ha invertido su tiempo y dinero. Un edificio emblemático restaurado para albergar peregrinos, porque su fijación es recuperar este camino olvidado ya que ha quedado relegado y escaso en servicios.

Curiously, my presence, without resembling a regular pilgrim, attracted the attention of the Mayor of this small, monumental town. He took me to know the place and taught me the project in which he has invested his time and money. An emblematic building restored to host pilgrims, because its fixation is to recover this forgotten way since it has been relegated and scarce in services.

Una vez en Sahagún, hay que llamar al Hotel Rural El Jardín de la Huerta. Espectacular antiguo convento remodelado y acondicionado de forma extraordinaria en un lugar apartado y con encanto. Galleguillos de Campos. Una población apartada del Camino de Santiago y de escasa población.

El calzado de hoy, en caso de que la previsión meteorológica anuncie buen tiempo, ha de ser el más traspirable. La carretera y su arcén provocan sensación de calor en tus pies y deben airearse y refrescarse en este caso. No olvidarse de llevar los palos, la credencial, la capelina (si anuncian lluvia) y esa gorra que no debe salir de la mochila.

Today’s footwear, in case the weather predicts good weather, has to be the most breathable. The road and its causeway cause a sensation of heat in your feet and should be aerated and cool in this case. Do not forget to carry the sticks, the badge, the capelina (if they announce rain) and that cap that should not leave the backpack.
