Una etapa llana, por camino de tierra junto a una carretera secundaria. El ir y venir de furgonetas que llevan el equipaje de peregrinos, es el único tráfico que transita esta vía. Los árboles no tienen aún la suficiente altura para proteger del sol y las horas que transcurren caminando los 38 km que hay desde Sahagún hasta Mansilla de las Mulas, hacen de este camino un duro ejercicio para cumplir el cometido.
A flat stage, by dirt road next to a secondary road. The coming and going of vans that carry the luggage of pilgrims, is the only traffic that travels this route. The trees are not yet high enough to protect from the sun and the hours that pass by walking the 38 km from Sahagún to Mansilla de las Mulas, make this road a hard exercise to accomplish the task.
El calzado ha de ser el más traspirable. El camino es llano y en su mayor parte de gravilla o asfalto. No hay bosques ni sombras.
The shoes have to be the most breathable. The road is flat and mostly gravel or asphalt. There are no forests or shadows.
Antes de salir comprueba la previsión meteorológica para llevar en tu mochila lo más imprescindible porque te han de caber botellines de agua. No te olvides los palos, la credencial, la capelina (por si llueve) y la gorra.
Before leaving check the weather forecast to carry in your backpack the most essential because you have to fit bottles of water. Do not forget the sticks, the credential, the capelina (in case it rains) and the cap.

El agua escasea. Aunque hay en el recorrido varias áreas de descanso para el peregrino, con fuente y todo- en alguna solo-, las temperaturas se elevan a mediodía y se llega a destino muy desfallecido.
Water is scarce. Although there are several rest areas for the pilgrim, with fountain and all-in some soil, temperatures rise at noon and a very faint destination is reached.
