Lleva dos tipos o tres de calzados para caminar:

Take two types or three of walking shoes:

1.- Gore-Tex es el nombre comercial (marca registrada) con el que se conoce popularmente a un tipo de textiles especiales a modo de  «membrana», ampliamente utilizados en la confección de ropa deportiva para actividades al aire libre.

Gore-Tex is the commercial name (trademark) with which is known popularly a type of special textiles like «membrane», widely used in the production of sports clothes for outdoor activities.

Su principal ventaja es el hecho de combinar una gran ligereza, una alta impermeabilidad, que protege de los efectos del agua, el viento y el frío, y una eficiente transpirabilidad que facilita la evacuación de la humedad corporal resultante del ejercicio físico. Estas condiciones lo convierten en un material para ser utilizado en prendas destinadas a la práctica de deportes al aire libre y en especial a los de montaña.

Its main advantage is the combination of a light weight, a high waterproofness, which protects against the effects of water, wind and cold, and an efficient breathability that facilitates the evacuation of body moisture resulting from physical exercise. These conditions make it a material to be used in garments destined to the practice of outdoor sports and especially the ones of mountain.

Usar el calzado de Gore-Tex tipo bamba o bota, será decisión propia. Como los caminos por los que pasarás no son de alta montaña, aconsejo más la bamba que el botín. Pero esto dependerá de uno mismo.

Wearing Gore-Tex footwear, such as a boom or boot, will be our own choice. As the roads that you will pass are not high mountain, I advise more the bamba than the booty. But this will depend on oneself.

2.- Calzado transpirable y con cámara de aire. – Breathable and air-tight footwear.

Procura comprar marcas buenas, especializadas en  este tipo de calzado y con prestaciones garantizadas.

3.- Sandalias destapadas – Uncovered Sandals:    

Son necesarias para airear el pie y se suelen ver por la tarde colocadas en los pies de los peregrinos. Identifican a estos entre la multitud, sobretodo en las grandes ciudades.

They are necessary to aerate the foot and are usually seen in the afternoon placed at the feet of the pilgrims. They identify these among the crowd, especially in large cities.
